I WISH I COULD SPEAK WITH CLOTHES | GARMENT POETRY

Corpi Vuoti debut collection i wish i could speak with clothes aims at deconstructing the sense of shame often tied to expressing emotion through words. It is inspired by a poem written by the designer, titled 4th house. The 4th house is an immaculate yet suffocating place. The verses dissect the human body into fragments and reassemble them into a new form. The imagery and emotions described are then translated into clothes, as if fashion could “literally” be another way of speaking.

The collection is presented through a performance in which vulnerability and the search for connection and community are the central themes. At the end of the show, ETUI magazine opens the doors to a confession booth curated exclusively for the occasion.
