As Stockholm Fashion Week draws to a close, the next generation steps forward. Interdisciplinary student teams present their ideas to a jury of industry leaders including Emilia de Poret, Sara Wimmercranz, Andreas Palm, and Angelo da Silveira. Fashion, sustainability, and economics as seen through the next generations eyes.

Swedish Threads is an interdisciplinary program initiated by the ASFB that brings together the upcoming generation of fashion designers, business strategists, and sustainability experts in school today.Based on the ASFB Triangle, Swedish Threads aims to bring together the next generation of experts to collaborate and tackle challenges early in their careers, aligning more effectively in the pursuit of a fashion industry that is both economically and sustainably viable.

The Jury

Andreas Palm is the founder and CEO of CDLP, a premium essentials brand. He holds a degree from the Stockholm School of Economics and has previously served as CEO of fashion label Ann-Sofie Back, as well as co-founder of Ciceron Group and Supernormal.

Emilia de Poret is a fashion entrepreneur, co-founder of the style platform Säker Stil, angel investor, and fashion expert on Swedish national television. She also hosts the podcast In Bed With Emilia, where she explores the intersection of culture, creativity, and personal style.

Angelo da Silveira is the founder of Diemonde, a fashion brand known for its progressive “outside-in” industry approach. Through UNITEX, he supports Swedish brands in reducing overproduction and building circular value chains. He has received national awards and sits on boards for both the Swedish Fashion Association and the Textile Producers Association.

Sara Wimmercranz is a television personality known for choosing second-hand fashion despite being able to afford almost anything, an approach that has been highlighted by top fashion publications. Through strategic investments, she drives technological innovation in sustainable fashion and actively sparks debate across social media, news, and economic platforms about the power of consumers, influencers, and legislators to drive change.
